Mujiba has maintained a private holistic health practice in Santa Barbara, California since 1985. The progression of the different healing modalities she has trained in began with working as a nurse in Santa Barbara’s local hospitals. One of the required practices for evening care at St. Francis hospital was a backrub for each patient. When patients were reporting that they slept well through the night and the requests for sleep medications was significantly reduced because of the backrubs, it was clear that training in massage techniques was a worthy endeavor. Mujiba received certification in therapeutic massage, developed a practice and thus entered the world of alternative medicine.

Seeking to expand the capacity to be of help on other levels, she investigated shamanic healing practices, different styles of energetic healing practices and entered into the study and practice of homeopathic medicine. She has also extended the intention of healing through performance of music and vibrational sound.
